Happy Earth Day! 🌎 Buying from your local farmer allows you to support local agriculture. This means that the food you are eating comes from nearby, and does not require the use of lots of energy and petroleum to ship the food halfway around the world. You are eating food in your own environment, where it has perfectly-created nutrients for your specific climate and region. You are also supporting the environment by reducing the usage of fossil fuels. #uvfmtotable

Did you know cauliflower is a vampire? Well, not really...but it doesn’t want to see the light when it’s growing! The head of the cauliflower is actually a form of undeveloped flower, and if it weren't protected by thick leaves for most of its life, the sunlight would stimulate the production of chlorophyll and the flowers would become inedible! 🦇
Sunnyvale Market closed for Art & Wine Festival. See you the following week!
