URGENT UPDATE

Immediate Action Required (march 3, 2020)

A new order was issued by the Santa Clara County Public Health Department in response to the  COVID-19 outbreak. In order for our markets held in Santa Clara County to remain open, every participating vendor must follow the requirements listed in the order and complete and print the form attached (Appendix-A). The completed form must be posted in your booth, every week, at the market.

For those of you unable to print the form, we will have blank forms available for you to fill out at the market this weekend. Make sure your sellers know that this is critical, and to ask the Manager for a copy first thing in the morning, if you were unable to print it.

Financial Assistance:

the CARES Act for Small Businesses (Ongoing)

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was recently passed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This legislation may be able to support farmers and small businesses these difficult times. We urge all our vendors who are suffering economic losses at this time to apply. To learn more about the CARES Package, please reach out the Small Business Administration (SBA): they have great resources to help with understanding how you can receive government assistance.
